
Dhaka, 7 July 2025: EDOTCO Bangladesh, the country’s leading telecommunications infrastructure provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tiger New Energy Ltd, a pioneer in clean mobility and energy innovation, to deploy sustainable power systems that drive greener connectivity and extend clean energy access to communities across Bangladesh.
This partnership marks a pivotal shift from conventional energy use to integrated renewable energy solutions for telecom infrastructure. It aims not only to ensure uninterrupted telecom services but also to support the national sustainability agenda by reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy equity.
Through this partnership, the two companies will pilot innovative services such as battery backup systems, swapping stations, and Charging Station Systems, all designed to reduce fossil fuel dependency and extend energy access to the wider community in line with EDOTCO’s commitment to implement sustainable approaches to provide seamless connectivity and community empowerment.
