In an effort to consistently pursue a safer and safer work environment, edotco has established additional guidelines in our OHS policy, including that:
All NTC’s are reviewed on a yearly basis on their specific local safety regulation and edotco Legal Register
All NTC’s are mandated to have their own OHS Committee with members consisting of management and workers, and meetings held quarterly; the committee to d iscuss occupational health and safety issues at every level of edotco’s daily operations, propose action plan to mitigate and ensure implementation effectiveness
All NTC’s Chairperson of the OHS Committee is CountryManaging Director
All NTCs will ensure that for every 40 workers, there are 2 representatives each from management and worker pools
Technology to Reduce OHS Risks
To this end, the use of advanced technology such as echo remote monitoring and management system that optimises operational processes, and reduces on-site manpower helps. Additionally, edotco employs drones for routine maintenance inspection and site audits. Technicians are no longer required to be on-site or climb towers to conduct manual equipment inspection. These steps significantly minimise worksite risks.
